Who Exactly Is Predicting that Childers Would Switch Party’s?

This story from the Daily Journal is a couple days old, but an interesting section caught my eye for the first time today. In it, Patsy Brumfield speaks with Rep. Childers and analyzes his first full year in office and raised an interesting point- a party switch. I had not heard any of this before, and Childers quickly shot down any potential rumors.
From the Daily Journal:
Childers strongly rejects predictions by some national pundits that he’ll become a Republican to avoid that party’s crosshairs when he seeks re-election in 2010 in the previously GOP district.
“Absolutely not,” he said.
“I’m a Southern Democrat – I vote what’s best for Mississippi,” which may not fit neatly into a party cookie-cutter, he noted.
