Did Obama Target Wilson Dodge Because Doug Wilson Is a GOP Donor?

A story that has received a lot of play on the right side of the blogosphere is the theory that the Obama administration targeted certain Chrysler dealerships whose owners have given to the GOP and GOP causes when they decided on whom should receive pink slips. You can check out this story which has a lot of good information about that.

I decided to take a local angle on this story, and looked up the campaign donation records from Doug Wilson, owner of Wilson Dodge, which has received notice that it will be cut from the Chrysler line.

After taking a quick look into OpenSecrets, both Doug and his brother Alan (whose dealership Howard Wilson Chrysler-Jeep will not be closing) have a long history of donating to the GOP.
