DNC: Please Run Ads for Childers Early and Often

Politico is reporting that a number of ads will be hitting the airwaves during the August recess for lawmakers. Included are spots from the Democrat National Committee where they will thank members for supporting the Democrats health care plan and/ or President Barack Obama’s stimulus package.

One of the members that the DNC is cutting a commercial for is Travis Childers. I have not seen the ads yet, but here is part of what they say: “The DNC spots praise members for standing up to special interests, whose lobbyists are fighting tooth and nail to stop reform and protect the status quo.”

That is a pretty generic statement. I wonder if they are going to use the words Obama or Pelosi in Childers’ ad. If they do, Alan Nunnelee needs to personally thank the DNC for spending money on his behalf.
