Townhall Updates- Childers and Taylor

Speaking of townhalls, it looks like Rep. Travis Childers will be able to hear from constituents- sort of. Childers has adopted a move used by other nervous Democrats and that is a “tele-townhall.” Rather than face his voters in person, Childers will hide behind the cover of a phone and a mute button.

On a positive note, you can say what he is doing is better than this Illinois Democrat who is charging constituents $25 to attend her townhall at the local Chamber of Commerce. I didn’t know Democrats believed in a poll tax…
