Because Democrats Are So Polite When Republicans Speak

September 10, 2009

Last night, Democrats expressed their dismay that Republicans did not stay quiet listening to Obama’s pep-rally.

Sam Hall listed his initial reaction as: “Surprised by the heckling and the crude signs by some Republicans. Sad.” In another post, he called out Rep. Joe Wilson as the person that booed Obama. Jere Nash said Republicans are going to have to do better than people like Joe Wilson in his post.

Glad to see their concern. Because I know they were so outraged when Democrats booed during the 2005 SOTU speech from Pres. Bush. Or maybe they just don’t remember that far back. See, that was when opposing the administration was the highest form of patriotism.

One more thing:

Obama can't stop lying

I applaud Joe Wilson. He did the same thing I was doing in my living room. BHO was not called out for calling Sarah Palin a liar. Make a contribution to Joe Wilson’s campaign. My idea of money well spent to a man who feels the same way I do. Hey, Joe keep yelling!!!!!!

If candidate Obama called Sarah a liar, he was at least speaking the truth. Unlike too many Republicans who lie and then justify that lie as being something God told them to do. Booing the POTUS is a bad precedent to be set by anyone, regardless of party affiliation. But booing the President did not begin with the Democrats. Republicans have poor collective memories when it comes to recognizing the source of bad behavior.

The office of the POTUS demands respect, whether we like him/her or not; whether we voted for him/her or not. The current Republican distaste for this particular President is repulsive. He is far superior to any of them – which is why he was elected by an overwhelming majority of Americans who see that he, alone, is able to lead our country back to prosperity from the disaster brought to us by the Republican President and his lying henchmen/women.

Maggie Noyah, how about when candidate Obama called Bill Clinton a liar? Was he speaking the truth then, too? Well, maybe so…bad example I guess.

Or when Obama called the CBO and Congressional Research Service liars last night. I guess both Obama and Wilson could claim the other person is lying.

The bill does prohibit illegals from being covered. In fact the bill says: “Nothing in this subtitle shall allow Federal payments for affordability credits on behalf of individuals who are not lawfully present in the United States”

      Sounds good, right?

Well, the bill contains NO verification requirement or enforcement proccess to verify status. When Republicans offered amendments to include this process, Democrats voted NO and killed that option. That way Democrats can say ‘hey, illegals won’t be covered’ while whinking at their liberal interest groups.

Its sort of like if a liquor store said they don’t sell to anyone under 21. But under that warning they put an astrict that said they will not check your ID.

Ds are just having both ways. Similar to covering abortion.

If everyone is covered by government health care and yes this is what will eventually happen…. the great professor Obama should know that the Constitution says no one can be excluded from a government programtherefore illegals cannot be denied coverage. By that way my husband called this morning to tell me that his employer will no longer be paying half of the cost of his dependents insurance. Why should they? Obama can save the day.

Democrats booed Bush because he lied to get us into a war we had no business fighting. Republicans booed Obama because he was discussing policies that will save American lives and dollars. And the Democrats booed–Wilson called the President of the United States a liar. No Democrat called Bush that in the halls of Congress. Slightly different, geniuses. Mostly, however, Republicans booed because their corporate masters in the insurance/medical industry told them to do whatever they can to oppose reforms that might threaten their profits. Even if it hurts their constituents.

How about when bush lied us to war and admitted it. “there were no WMDs”. And our kids died or got their limbs blown off? Is booing over the protection of the wealthy the same as shouting, you lie when it wasn’t a lie? And finally. Is every one here a racist?

Are democrats really that ignorant or are they under some kind of spell or something? I keep thinking I’ll wake up and find that our country really hasn’t been taken over by a tyrannical Marxist regime. Actually, this could be a good test – a test to decide whether patriotism, God, freedom and common sense is strong enough to triumph over socialist dictators like Hitler, Stalin, Chevez, Mao and Pol Pot

What are you thinking?
