Follow Up To ACORN Story

Last week, Haley Barbour ordered a review of the state’s contracts with ACORN and cut off any future funding of the embattled (to say the least) group. For the past week there has been some confusion about the state’s relationship with ACORN but we did find out yesterday that there is one payment on record from last year. It was for $7,035.
Further, ACORN has also claimed that they no longer have any operations in Mississippi and that the Hooker Street address listed on their website is no longer functioning due to lack of interest.

It’s be amazing to see the ACORN supporters come out of the woodwork since everything about them broke out. I imagine that small minority isnt much different than those who believe Bush was behind 911 or blew up the levee’s in NOLA.
