Alan Nunnelee on Hate Crimes Being Included In Defense Authorization Bill

The leadership in the US House tied voting for Special Rights for Homosexuals to the Defense Appropriations Bill forcing members to either vote for these special rights or against the Defense Appropriation. It is wrong and offensive to the men and women in the military to link their paychecks with Homosexual Rights.
Travis Childers initially opposed the stand-alone hate crimes bill, but he proceeded to vote for the final bill after it was tied into the Department of Defense authorization for 2010.
