The 2010 regular legislative session came to a conclusion today as the House finished up business today, including passage of the abortion opt-out bill by an 88-25 vote. It will now be headed to the governor where a signature is expected.
As opposed to last year when the budget battle went into the last hours of the fiscal year, this years appropriations bills were wrapped up before May.
