Nunnelee Warns Supporters About ‘Sleazy Democratic Tactics’

May 27, 2010

The Alan Nunnelee camp sent out an email this morning warning that “the Democrats are spreading lies and distortions through mail pieces and phone calls in Desoto county,” while raising the possibility about Democrats (who do not have a primary on Tuesday) attempting to ‘hijack’ the Republican primary.

The blast from the Nunnelee campaign also includes an email from Ellen Jernigan, a longtime GOP activist in Desoto county. The email claimed that “Democrats are behind these efforts (phone calls/ mail pieces attacking Nunnelee) to discredit Senator Nunnelee and doing everything they can to influence the Republican primary next week,” adding that they are “encouraging Democrats to come over and vote in our primary for one of Alan’s opponents.”

Well I guess we now know where TPLII and the rest of the “Ross supporters” get there excitement from! This must be that polling information that TPLII was telling everyone about.
Red you can now rest easy because the secret is out TPLII is counting on there fellow “Travis Troopers” to push Ross into a runoff with Nunnelee thereby insuring victory for there socialist federal government
I find it interesting that some people have said on this blog that Childers wants to run agianst Nunnelee. If that were true why would they be encouraging Dems. to vote for one of his opponents? If TT boy wanted to run agianst Nunnelee it seems that he would encourage his supporters to go and vote for Nunnelee next Tuesday?
Once agian I just do not understand liberals.

Please be aware that national unions pumped over $1,000,000 into the Travis Childers campaign in 2008. At many national conventions, union officals bragged about turning a solid Republican district into a Democratic district. You conservatives need to stop calling names and naming names.. Let’s get Tarvis out and a good Republican in.

Who exactly is Tarvis and what district are they running in?

I think this should be plan #1:
After the primes are over let’s all always refer to Childers as Tarvis Childs and see how infuriated his supporters become. They already think they are so intellectually advanced anyway. Then the first time one of them gets angry and calls us stupid or something we should say yes and we still get to vote.

TARVIS can waste all the liberal $$ he wants to–its his retirement party

The Nunnelee camp is saying a 527 funded by the SEIU is behind the attacks. Ill have more later.

SEIU and Andy Stern! Never dreamed they would get involved at this point. Travis is as sleazy as they come.

I was wondering about polling in this district and the only one I heard was the Magnolia poll on Y’all. This does tell me that Nunnelee is who Tarvis believes he has to beat. To go after Nunnelee at this point is telling as well. Nunnelee must be more advanced than I thought.

Watch out! democrates all over are looking to infuence elections this year. The democrates stratagy is to beat the Republican with the best chance in the primary.

It is more ingenius than that Red. Not only does it do damage to Nunnelee but to Ross as well. Since Nunnelee supporters will automatically blame it on Ross they will be so mad that if Ross wins they will not vote for him. Hence we have the same situation as two years ago. Split party and Tarvis wins.

Does this have something to do with what is going on in North/South Korea?

Might help if Ross would publically denounce sleaze, instead of saying he can’t control his supporters. I have not such expectations from the McGlowan camp. I still think the Flyer I got in Hernando was truthful, although not her best picture.

TPLII I imagine he spent that kind of money because he had it to spend.
On another note Wally Pang’s crab legs must be delicious!
Where can I go to get my hands on them? I can eat some crab legs so for his sake I hope it’s not all you can eat because he might go broke on me.
You have got to respect Mr. Pang, and all 0f the other Independent candidates, for getting out there and trying to do something about this Federal Government vs. We the People problem we are having.

I think we should all get behind Wally Pang’s crab legs. It would help his campaign you are right about the independants – most of them are paying their campaign costs out their pocket. Please somebody give us the address of his restaurant. Do you think we should wear a red ribbon when go so if one or the other of us are there we will know it is a friend.

gail giamarita is another w/ a spotless record-
les green is a nice guy,but clueless,as when i asked him to his face if he gets sent to D.C.,whats his tjoughts of sharia law in the US?-he asked me what sharia law is———-
alan is the ONLY GOP candidate who has not bashed his own party, advocated the reegistration of guns on your 1040 form,or called for more Constitutional amendments,a political ploy that would never ever get passed or probably even co-sponsored–

thats the truth charlotte, like it or not–ill be @ corinth tea party tomorrow, you know, the one thats NOT cancelled

Les is getting my vote because of his track record at being proactive in his own home area with the resourses he has avialable to him. I think he would be a quick study in DC on some of the more detailed legislature.
I will say that both Mississippi Elitist in the “Primary open thread” and Grizz here in this thread make excellent points about Nunnelee not attacking the party for which he is running. That is certianly somthing to think about when you vote on Tuesday.
