A Look At Barbour’s Iowa Mailer
Here is the outside of a mailer from Haley Barbour that is making its way around Iowa and the blogosphere today. The message is simple: “We can’t wait until 2012 to start taking our country back. We need to elect conservative Governors and Members of Congress in 2010.”

And here is the back with quick facts on Barbour, as well as a plug for his website asking recipients to sign up for updates. What does that do? Gives the governor names to build a database.

Anytime a rumored presidential candidate so much as uses the letters I,O,W and A in a sentence together speculation ramps up that they are making a run. What does this mean for Barbour? We will just have to wait and see. And while the message mirror’s what Barbour has been saying all along- focus on 2010- I am sure he didn’t mind getting a plug for his name in the all important caucus state.

These were in the mail in Mississippi over the last three weeks. You can donate to Mississippi Congressional candidates but only in general. You cannot specify who you want to donate too.
Yeah, I got the same mail piece in Jackson a few weeks ago. Will be interesting to see if they went just to Mississippi and Iowa, or if they are in a number of states across the country.
