Dennis: If You Want A Career Politician, I Ain’t Your Guy
We have talked about the career politician label being applied by both Republican Dave Dennis and Democrat Bill Luckett essentially against Phil Bryant. Today on Twitter, Dennis offered this: “If you want a career politician, I ain’t your guy.”
This follows an appearance with the Southwest Mississippi Republicans last week, where Dennis made a number of similar comments as reported by the Enterprise-Journal.
Here are some excerpts:
Dennis criticized Lt. Gov. Phil Bryant, a Republican who also is running for governor, saying the state needs someone with business experience, “who has signed the front of a paycheck,” rather than a career politician.
“When businesses want to come into state, they don’t need to be greeted by some gunslinger to tell them what they want to hear,” Dennis said, “it needs to be somebody who lives it.”

Is Dennis going to come up with anything else. That’s all we have heard from him.
I think Dennis is a great guy and a good Businessman. That being said , I think he should not be touting his signing the front of the check, after all he married the Bosses(owner’s) daughter. He and Bryant both are great guys and both conservatives.
