Thursday Morning From Neshoba
July 28, 2011
PHILADELPHIA- The second day of political speaking for statewide candidates is today with treasurer, secretary of state, and gubernatorial candidates, along with Haley Barbour, speaking today.
Should be a good day. It will be interesting to see if anything develops with the treasurer candidates. Don’t know many people who have a definitive answer on this race. I suppose one or more candidates may go negative, but I doubt it. We know Ricky Dombrowski will lay into Delbert Hosemann, we’ll just have to wait and see how the incumbent responds. And of course we’ll get to hear Barbour’s last speech as governor.
And like yesterday, we’ll be on Twitter. Check us out here.

I’ll be interested to see how negative Dave Dennis is on the heels on that new ad.
I, along with most people I know, don’t like negative campaigning, especially when it gets personal like has happened in the Lieutenant Governor’s race. However, a certain degree of that is expected in an old fashioned stump speech, and old fashioned stump speeches are a staple of the fair. Bring it on…
