Bryant Raising Money Off DGA Funding

Last week we noted that the Democratic Governors Association has committed $90,000 to help Johnny DuPree’s campaign. It’s not necessarily a large sum that will put a dent in Phil Bryant’s war chest advantage, but the GOP candidate for governor did send out an email raising money off the announcement. And at the same time, it gave the Bryant camp an opportunity to tie DuPree in with Barack Obama and national Democrats; something he hasn’t really had to this point.
