Updates From The Boyce Adams Campaign
A couple quick notes from Boyce Adams campaign for Northern District Public Service Commissioner:
** Adams announced campaign co-chairs today. This includes Lt. Gov. Phil Bryant, Congressmen Alan Nunnelee and Gregg Harper, former Public Service Commissioner Bo Robinson, and community leader Ellen Jernigan. Jernigan is a Republican activist from Desoto county.
Adams said this on the announcement: “I’m grateful to have the support of Lt. Governor Phil Bryant, Congressman Gregg Harper, Congressman Alan Nunnelee, Former Public Service Commissioner Bo Robinson, and Mrs. Ellen Jernigan. These five leaders have served Mississippi with great distinction and I am honored to have their insights and wisdom on my campaign. I’m excited that Mississippians across the state are joining this effort. My proven leadership and conservative record are a strong contrast with Brandon Presley’s record of supporting a liberal regulatory environment. It’s time to bring common-sense back to the Public Service Commission.”
** Earlier this week, Adams was formally endorsed by Bully Bloc, the independent PAC that advocates for MSU and higher education.
Here is a statement from the group: “Bully Bloc fully endorses Boyce Adams for Public Service Commissioner – Northern District. Boyce understands our energy challenges and how, as a state, we can meet them. His background and experience have given him a common-sense approach to regulation and energy challenges. Boyce Adams will be a strong leader for the interests of MSU and all of our institutions of higher learning in Mississippi.”
