Watch Angela McGlowan’s Tea Party Convention Speech

February 6, 2010

Below is a video of Angela McGlowan speaking at the Tea Party Convention in Nashville last night. Well worth watching. She says she is about to “embark on another endeavor in life,” but can not make an official announcement until Monday. And she does manage to take a shot at Travis Childers. Very much a campaign kickoff speech.

Or if you’d like, you can click through to the C-SPAN website to watch the speech.

Brett, I have to wonder, who cuts your pay roll check? Angela or Alan? Because you sure go out of your way to find you tubes and literature on them every day.

Actually, don’t get paid by anyone save for a few readers who were kind enough to make donations to the blog. I actually didn’t find out McGlowan was speaking at the Tea Party until a Google alert on Thurs. night. As you saw from the speech, she basically announced her candidacy. I would call that pretty important and worthy to be put on the blog, wouldn’t you?

And earlier in the week a reader emailed me the video from Nunnelee’s campaign kickoff rally. Also, I’d say it belongs on the blog.

And earlier than that, a reader sent me a picture of Ross’ campaign announcement and link to his almost finished website. Pretty relevant for the blog.

I am posting as much information is out there, especially as it relates to the GOP primary. At certain times, certain people will be in the news more than others. As always, if you think I’m missing something send me an email:

Someone was kind enough to video Henry Ross’s speech. It would be nice to see it on this site. It can be found on .
I would also like to see a little less of McGlowan. I am sorry Brett but I did get involved with this site because I though the coverage was bias towards Nunnelee. Now it looks like a love affair with Angela McGlowan. Enough is enough. Not everyone is a billionaire or has unlimited funds guaranteed by the party elite. Surely there could be “fair and balance” coverage on this site. At least I thought there could be.

Hey guys if you dont like the coverage of your candidate on this site start sending in information on your candidate not giving out URL’s. Read what Brett said “someone sent him an email with the info in it”. If you want to see it on here send it in do not just tell Brett where to go get it. As Brett said this site does not pay the bills so he can’t just sit around all day making sure that each candidate gets the same amount of coverage so that people do not come crying and complaning with accusations of bias and payoffs. GET REAL! Furthermore one of you said “thats why I got involved here because I thought this site was bias twards Nunnelee” . If I am not mistaken Nunnelee was the only official candidate until a few days ago. Also you got involved because you thought this site was bias toward Nunnelee and now you say its bias toward McGlawan it seems you will not be happy until this site is bias toward Ross. Furthermore Charlotte, just had a blog on here last night that stated how great of a site this is. Now you say its bias, make up your mind. This is Bretts site he is just kind enough to allow us to use it as a sounding board for our thoughts, and in some peoples case a platform for commercials for their candidate.

Nice to have you back MS Elitist. Sounds like you know Brett on a personal level. Thought you had just found this site? Who would you like to see on here?

I know Brett about as well as you claim to know Henry Ross! Kind of like you “just found” him to be the best candidate. I just come here to read and comment on whatever is on here because I like you have nothing better to do today.

You seem to avoid the questions and the issues. Too bad. Your comments are directed more at me. What bothers you the most – that I know a great deal about the candidates or that you seem to know so little. If you want to discuss issues here, we would all like to participate but if you don’t I’m done blogging with you.

I was only trying to point out the fact that it is not proper to go into someone elses home and be critical of there decor much like you did by attacking Brett and this blog.
As far as a you knowing “a great deal” that is a stretch. I have read your attacks on both Nunnelee and McGlowan while you praise Ross and then pretend to be undecided. It seems you have confused knowledge with support. Be real!
I took the time to watch the youtube video of Mr. Ross as he spoke in Corinth. I noticed that he thanked someone name Charlotte two times. Was that a coincidence or could it be that you are really in his camp as I suspected?
As for knowing the issues they vary from person to person what is important to me may not be important to you. I am listening for a candidate to spellout his vision and see how that coincides with mine.If I spell out my vision and what is important to me then you will respond with one of those commercials of how those issues are important to Mr. Ross and he can do all of those things for me and make my life wonderful. I watched Mr. Ross kickoff on youtube as I mentioned I also watched Mr. Nunnelee kick off his run and I have to say one was very clear with his vision for the country and moving forward while the other was not. I will not say which was which that is for the voter to decide.
I will continue to watch this site and interact as long as the mod. allows. I am sorry that you will not be blogging with me anymore because you are so much fun.
As for you speaking for the entire forum and my blogging on here, it seems from all of the ratings that we are pretty entertaining for the others.
