First Quarter Fundraising Ended Last Night

At midnight last night, the first fundraising quarter of 2010 came to an end for federal races. Without a Senate election this year, we are obviously just focusing on House numbers.

This is the last full quarter before the June 1 primaries. In a lot of ways, fundraising numbers can make or break a candidate. Better than expected numbers and it is a sign of momentum for your campaign; similarly, disappointing numbers will leave your campaign spinning and have been known to end a campaign.

This quarter is also of particular interest because it will be the first in which we see fundraising numbers from Angela McGlowan and Henry Ross in MS-01 and from Steven Palazzo in MS-04.

    Brett,

When will the numbers be posted on fundraising? Will be interesting to see who is getting the bucks this quarter.

Usually takes about a month before they’re posted online although campaigns will usually send out emails before that saying what they are expected to report.
