This is a very good piece. I think he is going to do very well.

Interesting that Mr. Nunnelee graduated from college and became a successful BUSINESS man. Not lawyer or journalist but business man.
I think this is what our state needs right now in DC representing us a man who has really worked hard for a living and knows what small business in Dist 1 need from DC in order to be successful in business on our own. Mainly we need DC out of our business and Mr. Nunnelee understands that. Good ad!

Good ad! Nunnelee is right on the issues. He is running a very good campaign and he has the ability to beat Childers. Its time to unite behind the guy who can win in November and that is Nunnelee.

Right now I am still going for Les Green but I must say that Nunnelee is an impressive alternative candidate for me.

I like Nunnelee. Will this ad be running on television? Will is be in all of District 1?

I am sorry I meant it instead of is.

Asked Nunnelee’s campaign and all they said was it will be playing on news shows a good bit in the next few weeks.

I saw the ad during the local evening news. It is very good and professional.

Tom, and what issue was he right on? The piece was an attempt to make a pun out of his eye sight and has made no offering on to what his vision is?

I am sorry but I do not see any campaign value in this ad. What is Nunnelee trying to do? Is he looking for a sympathy vote? Again, either he thinks that people will vote for him because they feel sorry for his infirmity or he just doesn’t understand what is appropriate and what is not. It just seems to get worse and worse. With all that money he paid for consulting you would think they would have told him.

you may want to go to his website and see how he is right on the issues. He doesnt just talk about them he actually has a record of doing the right thing.

Nothing more than a sympathy vote, more rhetoric no meaning, McGlowan and Nunnele are about to tie up like cats and dogs… Ross will slide through unscathed as the “Gregg Harper” of the 1st! This will be interesting

So Sack you are saying that you, like me, DO NOT believe that Ross can win the primary on merit and must “slide” through it in order to win.
I think that is a great point!
I also think most all of us in Dist. 1 will agree with you on that point. I will bet you that if Ross slides through the primary with a win Childress will continue the “Ross slide” by mopping the floor with him in November.
      Good point well said!

Vision or NRCC talking points? I am sorry the guy was blind yada yada, but that has nothing to do with how he would serve as a Congressman. I am sure we all have a sob story we could tell – but the country is a little more important right now than sympathy votes.

How ugly your heart is. This comment goes beyond the realm of bad taste. I am no fan of Ross or McGlowan but I would not attack them at this level of ugliness. You may want to evaluate the level of your involvement in this race. To have feelings this intense during a primary is boarder line dangerous. I am not joking you need to remove yourself from the process and rethink these feelings.

I am not voting in this District but I do have to agree with “Red” that these comments are a bit over the line.Yada Yada’ing a physical disability is very distasteful. I hope, for the sake of our country, that the candidate that “True Conservatives” supports is not as vile as this.

Wow lets try to have a little decorum there “TC”. You know there are liberals out there reading this and loving you.

I have a very similar problem to Nunnelee and would never use that vision problem or any other health issue (which I have) to win a political campaign. I am offended by it and expected more from Nunnelee that this.

You know why he put this video out. You Tea Party people ran around saying he would not look you in the eye. Now you know why, he has a vision problem. But I guess you moved on to your new argument of “I have a bad feeling about this guy.” These are your words from a previous post. Maybe you will listen to Charlotte from a previous post and attempt to be civil. If you truly have a health problem of the same magnitude you should know how much it shapes your being. Nunnelee is not looking for the sympathy vote. He is sharing who he is. I guess introducing your wife and children or speaking openly about your faith in Christ should disqualify you as well. That takes Ross out as well.

I have not mentioned anything about faith or family. You have your opinion and I have mine. Using a health issue to campaign is as low as it gets.

TPLII you say you have a vision problem similar to that of Nunnelee? Well then enlighten all of us as to how you as a blind person are reading this blog? Or is it that you have had a cornea transplant as well? Or is it that you have to wear glasses and you equate that to being blind?
Furthermore what do you expect from Mr. Nunnelee? Every time he makes a statement you say that you expect more of him or he said exactly what you expected and that is why you are not voting for him. So just what the heck do you want from him? To walk on water cause that aint gonna happen!
As far as faith and family go that is a valid point because that is personal information about a candidate that goes to show us what kind of person they are much like how a person reacts to a medical condition goes to show what kind of resolve a candidate has.
Plus as far as winning a campaign goes love em or hate em I would not stoop so low as to Yada Yada a candidates medical condition. Tastless!

I never said yada yada to anything. Vision loss is a serious condition and changes your life. My problems stem from my military life and I have a modified special screen and keyboard and that is all I will say about that. I don’t expect Nunnelee to walk on water, just to show that he is not preying on peoples emotions to vote for him. Everytime I hear something good about Nunnelee that makes me want to look at him again he comes right back does something like this video.

A very good ad. I think he just won D1 if it is played enough.

I have noticed that on this blog site there is a “venomous” attack on all 3 of the R candidates. I think that is a huge mistake. In fact, sometimes I wonder if the Dems are the ones blogging here trying to make our candidates look bad and get us all fighting each other. I believe we have three good choices in the primary and a few in the general. From this point forward I will choose to believe that anyone posting “hateful” comments about another candidate is just a liberal from the other side. Conservatives should know by now that we have good candidates that can stand on their own without attacking one another. And for the record I am a Nunnelee supporter, not because of negative issues about the others but because I have checked his voting record for myself and believe he is a true conservative.
