Below is a copy of a complaint filed with the Federal Communications Commission regarding a statement by a program commentator on Supertalk in support of Alan Nunnelee. We have removed most of the personal information for the time being. I did get the OK to include the full PDF with the personal information on it this morning.

Radio station made statement supporting a candidate… Print media can endorse all they want, but not the airwaves eh?

yes, airwaves ,tv,radio, ect.,CAN endorse anyone they desire,–example,Hannity,Rush, Michael Savage,as they are privately funded by ADVERTISING.
in the case of ms.Supertalk, besides advertising, they are PUBLICLY FUNDED, by Ms.TAX DOLLARS,broadcast station, which receives their tax dollars from the Candidate of their choice,Alan Nunnelee, chairman of the Ms.Appropriatoons Committee. SEEMS LIKE SUM_TING WONG here.

So Wally are you for the Fairness Doctorine?

          @ Mr.Hill;
In My view, the fairness doctrine is a contrivance of the liberal left in an attempt to stifle Corporation,ie.big business, vocal and financial support for Conservatives in upcoming elections.Probably ESPECIALLY to Sarah Palin, whom they no doubt fear the most-like her or not.
The NRA it seems, made a deal with the devil here on this,-they got a waiver, exemption, not to be included in the Fairness Doctrine,in return it seems for them to endorse vulnerable Dems.
Is ‘hypocrite” the word on this pass? The FCC ban on conflict of interest and bias is ALREADY law,& has been law, which needs to be followed until and if it is changed.I neither support the fairness doctrine, nor the policies of Obama,Pelosi,or mr.Reid.
          I have although,over the wknd.,publicaly endorsed & support the new immigration Law of Az.,and it’s Gov.Jan Brewer.thank you .

Oh give me a break! They have the disclaimer everybody’s heard it if you listen to Supertalk. “Opinions expressed by hosts and callers are not necessarily thos of Supertalk or the adverTISers.” In fact, every time I hear it I think what a pitiful job of production and editing it is. Needs to be replaced.

Mr. Meadows needs to find a constructive hobby. Hey, I got an idea, maybe he can start his OWN radio station!

looks like Mr.Meadows may not care for Mr.Nunnelee,as you seem to DO lol.
it is BOTH your choice to like or dislike a Candidate,as it is his,if he feels a major FED. law was broken to complain.this is like the sign in Walmart that says “watch out for wet floor may be slippery”.–still, folks fall, get hurt, some sue others don’t need to,but they collect–
ALL Candidates,ALL commentators, ALL over the USA must be very carefull to what they say and do,as i am sure you know. As i am sure you heard, the Dems.have even put up a special website, calling for liberals to report to them ANY slip of the tongue by Conservatives. If his complaint was against Mr.Childers, would you now be saying way to go Mr.Meadows, good luck? probably.I say let it run its course, let the law sort it out.

I made no reference to which candidate I liked or disliked. Your question ASSumes that I would change my opinion based on partisanship.

It’s talk radio. Sid Salter’s show is ALL opinion. If you don’t agree, you can call in and say so. To complain that someone stated an opinion in that forum is ridiculous.

Do liberals need to be worried if someone has an opinion?

they can disclaim all they want, it doesn’t matter if they’re taking tax dollars to do their business. If they want that private market freedom, maybe they should put down the handouts they love to complain about.

What “Wally” is not saying is that he is running for Congress in the 1st Congressional District as an independent, that Mr. Meadows is one of his supporters and that this is a stunt to draw some media attention.

Essentially, you’re accusing a guy of being part of a conspiracy and your evidence is that he said that the Republican nominee had the best chance of beating the Democrat nominee. Is that really a novel concept in a two party system?

Five bucks to the first person who can cite the FCC regulation which was supposedly violated and produce evidence that the cited reg was, in fact, violated. Otherwise this is a bunch of ballyhoo, bordering on slander, from a fringe candidate with no chance in you know where of pulling more than 1% of the vote.

Well friends, apparently “listener” is a newbie Nunnelee lacky who got all shook up on this –show us Mr.Meadows is a Wally supporter please–he was for gail Giamarita last I heard-but one things for sure,he sure does dislike mr.Nunnelee the tax raiser –too bad he/she/it hasn’t been around long enought to know that,as in Wally for example, their names show in RED not BLACK,so we all know to click on name & go directly to his web site–hey and it looks good too–guess he should thank you for more publicity–he didn’t go to D>C. and take dirty Muslim jihadi terror $$$ like Alan did–plus the Jackson free press expose’ on alan & MSR-truth is truth–and to think i was once for him–Duh on moi-now go report to alan-if Mr.Pang is such a fringe candidate, why even bother to trash him ? just to embaress yourself i guess.no matter who their candidate is,in their one sentence each, stephen hill & c burns had more to say than your whole rant did. AGAIN, if you think you are telling us something NEW here that Mr.pang is a Candidate for office, you are way too late.

Grizz, clearly you don’t care about any of this, right? Wow, get some uncaffeinated beverage in your system and calm down there, Sparky.

My post was logical, enough. It wasn’t a rant. What do you find so offensive about stating that the Republican nominee has the best chance of beating the Democrat nominee. Do you have any actual evidence of a violation of an actual FCC regulation?

I may be new and not know about color-coded system, but I am not the one who is embarassing myself. I’m also not a Nunnelee lacky. Just a fella who thinks this is silly and unsubstantiated. “Grizz,” are you a “Pang” lacky? Are you actually Mr. Meadows??? Your writing styles appear similar and you seem to know a lot about who he supports.

either i am actually mr.meadows and i DO have evidence, and you are ACTUALLY Aan Nunnelee,or,i am NOT mr.meadows and it is not i who needs to produce ANY evidence to you,or anyone else as i am NOT the complaintant-why not ask mr.Meadows instead of calling mr.pang a fringe candidate, when,in fact, independants all over the USA ARE beating out the RINO”s like Alan Nunnelee–if nunnelee wins–he wins –end of story–but watch childers crucify him just like he did ! J-center July 3rd–the REAL fringe Candidate,a very rude man, is AG bradley,who,@ J-Center on July 3rd made his speach and publicly stated we needed to vote for him,as HE, is the ONLY Candidate in D1 to have served in the US military and was a veteran.he really enjoyed it when i pulicaly did a joe Wheeler on him and called him out –LIAR!–as there is a Candidate who is a vietnam war Army Veteran. If you think its silly and unsubstanciated, you may be correct–you MIGHT not be–i stated earlier, why not let the FCC and courts sort it out?I DO know of mr. meadows tho,a small business owner in Ripley, although we have never met–are you friends with Alan?is he your Dad? rofl–
