Democrat Distances Himself From Pelosi

The latest ad from Rep. Joe Donnelly (D-IN) attempts to distance himself from the national party as we have seen with many Democrats in conservative districts, but goes further than most Democrats usually dare to go. In this ad, he proudly proclaims that he “voted against Nancy Pelosi’s energy tax on Hoosier families.” A reference to the cap-and-trade bill that cleared the House, but will not see the light of day in the Senate.

I suppose the next question is will Travis Childers call Pelosi out like that? Like Donnelly, he has pointed out his “independent” record, but we have never really heard any negative comments from the Congressman toward the Speaker. I am guessing Donnelly won’t be the last Democrat to do this either, but will Childers feel like he needs to put more distance between himself and Pelosi…We will see.

And just so you know, at one of Representative Taylor’s Townhall meetings (before he got too elitist to have them), Gene was asked point blank if he was sorry that he voted for Pelosi for Speaker and would he never do it again. He wasn’t sorry and refused to say it wouldn’t happen again.

From what I understand, Steny Hoyer is will be in US1 to campaign for Childers. There is a photo shot of Hoyer walking hand in hand with one of Pelosi’s yes men(somebody please identify if you can) as they make there way through the Tea Party crowd. It was the day in which the TEA people were accused of hurling insults.($100,000 reward for proof has yet to be claimed.)
Hoyer is connected to the “Pelosi demo-rat pack”.
I would think that if Childers claims to be independent of Obama and Pelosi that he would want to space away from Hoyer too. I guess since both have taken significant contributions from the job killing demo-unions that he must feel they have too much in common to part ways.

Everyone should be running away from Washington.
