All the campaigning, money, and time comes down to these final 12 or so hours when polls close at 7 p.m. tonight. We’ll be here with an election night live-blog starting around 6:30, but we’ll report on election happenings such as turnout, shenanigans or anything else that comes up. And check us out on Twitter for even more news as it happens.
One question we need to look at is what kind of role will weather play in turnout. For obvious reasons, the worse the weather, the lower the turnout. It is supposed to rain pretty much all day in Jackson and in the Delta. Same with Southaven. Tupelo is expecting rain later in the day. Rain is also expected to start shortly in Hattiesburg and a little after that on the Coast. Conclusion: wherever you are in the state expect some bad weather.
