Another Palazzo Staffer To Leave

April 12, 2011

This afternoon we got word that a third staffer for Rep. Steven Palazzo will be leaving the freshman’s office. Palazzo’s chief of staff and communications director resigned about two weeks ago rather abruptly. This time it is Spencer Wayne, the legislative director.

Hunter Lipscomb, Palazzo’s spokesman, said that Spencer has accepted a new opportunity but will remain with the Congressman for several weeks. As with statements last time around, there was little in the way of details with best wishes for the future to the departing staffers from Palazzo’s team.

What is going on in Palazzo’s office? This guy sounds like he lost it when he got to D.C.

I’m hoping that they’re leaving because Palazzo is taking a principle stand instead of just going along with big government, bring as much federal welfare to MS as you can, career protecting republicans that we keep electing. His vote against the C.R. was encouraging, but I have trust issues with politicians.

You really can’t lose what you never had.

Stay tuned Doug this is going to be fun to watch in a rather morbid way.
