That is great Tate will debate! I wouldn’t miss it for world…
I watched the Governor debate last night and now understand why the repubics never invited Ron Williams to a debate. Cause Ron whipped them last night on every issue.

unfortunately its a debate that is only going to last 10 or 15 minutes so not much of one, but i am thankful we get something out of Tate in the way of a debate! This is better than nothing!!! I am HUGE Hewes fan admittedly, and disappointed we didn’t get the long format debate in Oxford but anything is better than nothing! It should be well attended as Wedn is a big day at the fair.

    Frank,

The old saying “beauty is in the eyes of the beholder” also applies to gauging who won the debate. If you like the message that was delivered by a candidate then you are subject to say that candidate won the debate. Obviously Tread liked Ron’s message and, therefore, feels like he won the debate. I disagree with Tread but respect his opinion. And I don’t think the majority of Mississippians agree with Tread either. I feel quite certain that the average Mississippian doesnt want a governor that is obviously bitter and angry with an “axe to grind”. But the tale will be told on Aug 2.

    Coast,
I have to agree “beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.” But here the beauty is the irony. I have been anti establishment since the establish was (Mabus, Molpus, Moore). This establishment abused the peoples trust and used their power to enrich their supporters. I was part to seeing them out and the new establishment in. Then watched the same happen again & again. Now we have someone that has been enriched from government contracts exposing the establishment, because he was cut out of the big contracts.
It is like a hog feeding at the trough, a fatter hog bites and pushs him out the trough, and the hog turns into a boer to attack the fat hog. It is classic irony. I want be voting for him, but I still think he preformed well… I know you have beef with him, but come on the irony is beautiful.

What are you thinking?
