Home Circuit, the best pre-order toy for Christmas?

It is already possible to order your Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit game, one of the flagship toys for the end of 2020! With this new work, Nintendo brings Mario Kart to life with an augmented reality toy made up of a kart and goals that can be placed at home. All with the switch console, of course!

This is one of the back-to-school gaming events and hands down one of the flagship toys for Christmas 2020. After Nintendo took to the streets with the Pokemon Go application and conquered the whole world, Nintendo proposes reality Transpose in your life room with Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit. With this novelty, Nintendo is at the crossroads of several toys that are reminiscent of both the old-fashioned remote control circuit and the game console, but also augmented reality, so that virtual elements can be overlaid in reality. Specifically, Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit is a remote-controlled kart that you charge with a USB cable. Inside the box there are gates that you can place in your living room or even anywhere else in the house as you wish. The goal is to design your own circuit, and you can think of anything from a classic oval to a more complex 8. These are the porticos and the arrows that serve as indicators.

On the kart a small camera that films the course and allows you to mix the real images of your living room with the world of Mario Kart. Everything on the Switch (or Switch Lite), which therefore acts as a remote control. By default, we face opponents that are managed by the console, but the very good news is that we can even play together. Up to four players can put their kart on the racetrack. The whole Mario Kart universe is respected with the various bonuses (mushrooms, bananas …) that we can suffer or that we can of course enjoy. The effect has a direct impact on the kart, as it can accelerate or, conversely, slow down. The game was announced for October 16, but has been available for pre-order on Amazon since September 2. It sells for 99.99 euros and is available in two versions: Mario or Luigi.
