where to pre-order and first price drops

AIR DAY. Hardly announced, Apple AirTags are already sold out on several retailer sites. Where can I find the brand’s new products and what are the first price cuts already available?

Summary

AirTags have been expected for several years and are finally a reality! These little trackers make it easy to find your lost items thanks to the “Find” function of your Apple devices. These small items will be available from May and are already sold out on several retailer sites. We take stock of where you can get Apple AirTags at the best price and which first good offers are already available.

AirTags are available in two purchase options: individually and in packs of 4. You count around 35 euros for the purchase of an AirTag and 119 euros for the pack. Although AirTags are out of stock on several retailer sites, they can be pre-ordered from Apple’s official website, Apple Stores, and some websites that have enough inventory left.

Several accessories are also planned, including a leather keychain for 39 euros, a leather strap for 45 euros and a polyurethane strap for 35 euros. These accessories can also be the result of collaborations between Apple and other major brands. The first price drops have already been recorded, especially for some leather straps, which are available for 35 euros instead of the usual price of 45 euros.

AirTags can be ordered from Friday, April 23rd, 2:00 p.m. (French time). Their official release in stores and authorized resellers (whose prices may differ from the official price) is set for Friday, April 30th, 2021.

Apple and the luxury brand Hermès jointly offer handcrafted leather accessories. This set includes a bag accessory, a key ring, a travel tag and a luggage accessory with the image of the Hermès brand. This unique accessory is sold with a personalized AirTag that carries the image of the high-end brand.

The AirTags are powered by a battery built into the product. Apple has confirmed that the latter will have a life expectancy of just over a year. It can also be replaced entirely by hand without having to redeem a new AirTag or return yours to customer service.
