Taylor Testy Towards Tegerdine

Gene Taylor is clearly feeling the heat in his district where he has been easily re-elected over the years.  His attitude would seem to indicate that for the first time in quite some time he might actually have a serious opponent on his hand come November, whether it be Tegerdine or Palazzo.  I honestly think Taylor should be worried and I think this incident is a telling sign of how he feels about his bid for re-election.  This race has the potential to possibly rival all the attention that MS-01 is getting in a bad year to have a D by your name no matter what your record in Congress may be.

Never Scorn The Gay Army

I bet Itawamba County did not expect to be the center of attention this week, much less the target of the gay activist community that has unleashed on the northern Mississippi county in the last day or so.  The school district should have honestly known better than to try to start a war with the very sensitive gay community.  The gay community in this country will walk through fire to publicize an “injustice” such as this one.  They will yell and shout equality for all and I have no problem with treating a person as a person, but it crosses the line when you criminalize those who do not support your lifestyle choice.   I really could care less how this turns out in the end, but it is just another step towards completely losing God in our country.  Let the girl do whatever she wants to and live however she wants to, but don’t attack those who have longstanding religious beliefs against her lifestyle.

I don’t care what homosexuals do in their homes, but don’t try to shove your lifestyle down my throat every chance you get and call me a bigot or backwards for not agreeing that the way you live is socially acceptable.  In my beliefs, God did not put Adam and Jim or Eve and Jane on this earth to procreate.  He put one woman and one man and you don’t even have to go far in the Bible to find that:

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

Genesis 1:27-28

You can interpret that however you want, but it seems pretty clear to me.   That is what I believe and I should not have to walk around and feel bad or be vilified for what I believe.

The only people I see that are trying to shove their beliefs down someone else’s throats are the school districts. The girl just wanted to go to her prom

I honestly have no problem with the girl going to her prom, but looking at it in the bigger picture it just is another story that the gay rights community will use to paint those who disagree with their way of life as heartless bigots. They will latch on to this and ride it out as long as they can.

Gene should be feeling the heat, he is out of step with the people of his district. The momentum is building for Joe Tegerdine, Republican Candidate for Congress, check out http://www.joetegerdine.com

CaptDeacon – Thanks for the laugh. Joe Tegerdine and campaign and momentum don’t really go in the same sentence. “Out of Step with the people” of MS – that belongs in a sentence with Joe and Campaign.

I don’t understand what this has to do with God? How does this girl wanting to not be excluded from a school-related activity somehow lose God? She goes to church every Sunday and has been very involved in her church, as has her date. I’m still missing something here I guess…

What are you thinking?
